on my weekly running plan, friday is a day off. i had gotten into the habit of using fridays to do some light elliptical just to warm up, and then get in some good stretching, a few planks and bird dogs, a couple pliƩs, maybe some easy weight lifting. it's been literally weeks since i have done that. it was a habit, i missed a couple, and boom, habit gone. i was sort of feeling like it wasn't much - that during the week at least one other day i should do some good stretching and all - because just friday wasn't really enough to do any good. instead of adding another day, i dropped friday. this doesn't really make me happy with myself. if i could remember this feeling i have right now when it comes time to head to the fitness center on fridays, maybe i'd go.
